How it started...
Welcome:
Thank you so much for visiting my online jewellery store for Happy Days Designer Jewellery.
I'm Sarah and I trained initially in designing and creating jewellery around 30 years ago. But my fascination with all things sparkly began as a little girl, I loved exploring my nan's jewellery boxes! I remember studying in detail, the colours & sparkly stones. I loved to try the jewellery on and marvel at how beautiful it looked!
I went on to study art, design and even undertook some metalsmith training, which I loved! I loved working metal to create intricate designs and soon I was working in a gorgeous, little designer jewellery shop where I also created & sold some of my own designs.
Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Fast forward a few years and I followed my heart to my other great love in life- helping people. I undertook 7 years training to become a Specialist Trauma Therapist & I still incorporate creative ways of working into sessions, where appropriate. Many of you will know me as Sarah, Trauma Therapist!
Whilst my Therapy Career excelled, I knew I needed to balance it with being creative for my own self care. And so designing & making jewellery has become my therapy! I feel very thankful that I can combine the two.
I created this website in 2020 when I decided to focus on building a little jewellery business, alongside my career as a Specialist Trauma Therapist. You can read about this at: www.counsellingbysarah.com
I'm proud of the brand I'm building with your ongoing, wonderful support. I'm registered with HMRC and The name; Happy Days Designer Jewellery, is a reflection of how I want people to feel wearing my designs; Happy and carefree. We express ourselves so much through the jewellery and colours we wear. My designs are based largely on my love of nature, with a little quirkiness thrown in.
Everyone deserves to be able to afford beautiful, keepsake jewellery, so I pride myself on the quality and price of all of the jewellery I create & sell.
